This move reduces damage from physical and special moves for five turns. This can be used only in a hailstorm.Effect
Erects a barrier around the user's side of the field that reduces damage from physical and special attacks by half for five turns. In double and triple battles, the reduction is 1/3. Critical hits are not affected by the barrier.
This move fails if Hail is not active when it is used, but the effect will remain after the hail ends as long as there are turns remaining.
If the user is holding Light Clay, the barrier lasts for eight turns.
Brick Break, Defog or Golden Flame used by an opponent will destroy the barrier.
