The user melts into the shadows and disappears, avoiding all harm.Move Description
The user vanishes into the shadows and so removes itself from the battle entirely, waiting until all attacks have been exchanged and all effects have taken place before reappearing. The effort involved in this disappearing act makes doing it twice in a row impossible.
Effect
The user is removed from play until the end of the turn. It takes no damage and avoids move effects from almost all sources (barring the exceptions noted below), including end-of-turn damage from weather and field effects. Damage and effects caused by the user's held item or status conditions like poison or Ghost-Curse are still applied. Sketch and Transform still work against the user. This move will fail if it is selected twice in a row and will cause Detect, Endure, King's Shield, Protect or Spiky Shield used on the following turn to have a reduced chance of success.
If the user is last to act this turn, this move will fail.
This move cannot be selected by Assist, Metronome or Parodize.
