Shrdlu Town
Introduction
After a long day of marching along Route 1 and through Dingbat Cave, Shrdlu Town is a welcome sight for weary travelers. This tiny town has a small shrine at its center that is decorated with strange, letter-like carvings, though these days it passes more or less unnoticed by all but curious tourists or archaeologists. A similar shrine exists in Etaoin City on Krtuso Island; it is said that a third exists somewhere, though no one has ever seen it. A ferry service operates from the town's small docks, carrying trainers to the other islands—and to the real beginnings of their adventures.
About Shrdlu Town
Professor Taxus and his assistant Edison have their laboratory here, where they study man-made Pokémon and other Pokémon with such strange, close relationships to humans—including, of course, the Unown. While the two men are quite capable of managing on their own most of the time, they may occasionally ask trainers passing through Shrdlu for assistance with certain projects.
