You'll certainly get a run for your money if you challenge him; just don't let the old-timer forget why you were battling in the first place!
About Asher
Denath Village's gym leader may be getting up in years, and he may have a little difficulty remembering where he put his glasses from time to time, but Asher still knows exactly what he's doing when it comes to battling. He was selected as a gym leader at the New Logora League's inception sixty years ago, and there's a very good reason that he's held on to the position for this long. Strange though it may seem for this little old man to keep his Fire-types in the middle of a Grass Pokémon paradise like Kronea Island, Asher knows just how to take full advantage of the warmth and the climate to keep you on your toes. Be prepared for a challenging battle when you walk into his gym... just realize that you might need to remind him to give you your badge when you win!
