Tinimer practice making balloons out of the fine, gossamer silk they spin, always experimenting to find one that's just the right size. When a Tinimer is old enough it raises its balloon and lets the wind carry it far away to its new home.
Tinimer rely on their silk balloons to travel from place to place. If the balloon a Tinimer is using pops, it becomes distraught and will not move from its spot until it has constructed a new one.
